Thousands of children and young adults go to cancer treatments like chemotherapy, all alone. The most common reason is that their parents need to work during those hours to support their family.
We are here to help end this. Through our programs and initiatives, we help parents and caretakers of children with cancer and blood disorders be there during treatment and help bring families closer.
During one of his own treatments, Millad saw a young child begging Millad’s mom to come play with him. This child was there all alone, having taken the public bus to the hospital to receive chemotherapy. The kid’s mom was at work and wasn’t allowed to leave.
This experience inspired Millad and his father to take action, forming MEZ Childrens Foundation.
